Sunday 18th
Lovely walk up Bellever Tor

 Snow under foot.

 Cold and crisp.

The bluest of blue skies today.

 Low sun,

 casting long shadows

and offering little warmth to us.

 Pristine landscape.
.
 Who could ask for more?

Dartmoor tors are famous weathered granite outcrops.

They've been around longer than Gerry, who at over 80 still shins up the rock face with ease.

Phil at almost 80 went for a climb while the rest of us youngsters chilled out in the lee of the wind.

 Paul taking in the view.

Gerry and Phil

 MeWally and Paul.

 Dartmoor grasses

 gorgeous.

 Heading back to the car,

 by the scenic route.

Quick break; hungry work this walking.

Sun sinks so low we get dazzled.

Shame to finish our walk

it's all been lovely.
Lovely day,
Lovely weekend.
All lovely,
lovely.
