Ringstead Bay To Lulworth Cove - Friday 5.8.11

We grabbed a warm, calm day and headed out to sea in our little boats.

The rock here is a mixture, but mainly CHALK at this point.

SHAGS - snigger, snigger.

Sea cave coming up - BAT'S HOLE (I think).

A calm moment on this benign sea looking at a sea stack just beyond BAT'S HEAD .

The first view of DURDLE DOOR

a truly magnificent arch through the PORTLAND LIMESTONE

Showing a way through to a proto-cove.

Rock hopping in ST OSWALDS BAY.

I can't resist a rough old buoy.

LULWORTH COVE - taken on 'pop art' setting on my point and shoot - hence the weird/fun colours.

LULWORTH COVE - taken on 'panorama' setting on my point and shoot - 3 shots, automatically stitched together in the camera.
