Gerry went for a walk from our bay, NA GEARRANNAN, over AIRD MHOR and on to our nearest surf beach at DAIL MOR.
We three wee wet ones, jumped into the car and headed straight for DAIL MOR.
We headed into the water; bravely.
Lots of rushing back out to sea.
Lots of showing of teeth.
The boards look pretty tired after nearly four hours of use.
We headed for the car,
and packed up ready to head back to the house for a soupy lunch.
The lads seem to be a bit tired. WE GOTTA GO PARTY TONIGHT.
WAKE UP!!
Then laid out the perishables we had left over,
and asked ourselves what we could create that would use all this food? It's our last night in the cottage and we don't want to be hauling grub around for another three days.
I got on and made yet more pasties and some pouches with, very tart, goosegog jam in them. That'll be snacks for the next few days taken care of.
Our ODDSNENDS evening meal came out as mackerel fish cakes and sagg aloo, with mashed sweet potato and a bowl olives as 'side dishes'.
WEIRD.
The golf seems to be on all the time. It's a dull, soul sucking sound. I ask myself, Who cares??
The answer, the guys!
HO HUM
I'll knit for a mo.
HOOTS MON, BOOTS ON
For a night at the HEBRIDEAN CELTIC FESTIVAL again.
Taking my point and shoot camera this time, so's I can play with perspective like this......LOL
We're moving nearer and nearer to the stage each evening.
It's a steep learning curve for Gerry, this festival thing.
But fun.
When we get home, we're a tad peckish. I head for the pasty pile and find this ...
at the precise moment I'm wailing, Oh, me pasties
MeWally was making a fuss of a very contented cat that had installed itself on one of our sofas.
It was ejected, bloody animal, and wandered off into, the never quite dark, night.
Look how puzzled it seems. Why, it's wondering, did we give it all those curry pasties, and then treat it like
VERMIN?
OH, NOW, LET ME THINK..........
