What we all want on a Sunday morning is a LEISURELY LIE IN; it's a given. So that's what we had.
After much tea and toast we were ready to play 'SPOT THE DAMP', 'SPOT THE LINTEL' and 'SHIFT THOSE STAIRS'. It was just like being at home....... FUN.
By lunchtime we'd moved Kerrines' KITCHEN into her living room. Then we ripped up her flooring. She'll have to fit a new set of units ......
or cook CAMPING STYLE for ever! It has to be said, that she produced fab meals in her make do and mend cooks corner.
After our house work and meal, we sauntered to the GOTHIC CEMETERY that lies, hidden from view, at the back of her place.
It's a MASSIVE burial site with three churches, lurking about in the undergrowth, awaiting the dead.
Health and safety is every where these days. This cemetery has a SAFETY PROGRAMME. Tottering headstones are marked in this DASHING STYLE; just in case you're too stupid to notice they're dangerous. One grave had freshly laid flowers on it, as well as a yellow triangle. Now that's INSENSITIVE.
It tipped down as we took in the sites, not the best conditions for photography, but this subject is enhanced by the sheen on the water.
All in all a great weekend.
